Sicilian-Najdorf: Poisoned Pawn (6...e6 7.f4 Qb6)

The Poisoned Pawn Variation is one of the main branches of the 6.Bg5 Najdorf. Black launches a direct attack on the b2 pawn. White can either defend the pawn or allow Black to grab it, which is the more popular continuation. This variation became popular in the 1960s after Fischer played it with great success.White has not been able to refute the Poisoned Pawn Variation.
